#12 Living in a city for children is better.

          Why people want to live in a city than a countryside? In my opinion, there are lots of educational facilities and lots of people in a city. That's why parents prefer to live in a city.

          First of all, in a countryside there are only limited worikings provided. Contrary to countryside, there are lots of jobs in a city so that it is pretty good for young couple to raise their children. While they are working, they can ask their children to child care center. So they feel relieved. The young couple can get a job which can be professional. For these kinds of reasons young couple wants to live in a city.

       It is no doubt that children growing up in a countryside are well- immune and healthy. But there are lots of way to get strong. For example, during the weekends, going outside of the city to travel, climbing mountain, or going to park near the city. It can be very helpful for their body. More over, it is very useful to use facillity which are gymnasiums, or libraries. So children would be very healthy in body and mind.

       For the future society, it is the trend that couple shoud be working together. It is quite effective that living in a city and using a good facillity to raise their children.

#11 Living in a countryside for children

It is better for children to grow up in a countryside than a big city.  In a countryside, children are aquaited with nature and they grow up very heathily with a fresh air. There are many reasons I support living in a countryside.

Nowadays people tend to go back to countryside for children. The children growing up in a big city usually stay at a building which is sorrounded with polluted area. So they suffer from diseases such as athma, atopy skin. It’s because their immune system isn’t so strong. However children living in a countryside stay near mountains, and streams. It helps children boost immunity so that they are healty.

Usually people think educational facility is not enough in a countryside. But it is not true. Nature is the best place for studying. It is not neccessary to have a good equipment, or facillity for studying. When I was young I don't need many exercise equipment, I have only my own bycicle. And I have many friends who can play with me and plenty of time for playing. I think plenty of time they can enjoy themselves in a countryside.

I am curious that why people are eager to live in a big city. Maybe lots of jobs are existed in a city. In my opinion, If they have their own job in a countryside, it would be perfect place for children to grow up.

#9 Japan is getting on bandwagon

     Rakuten online company in Japan make a new policy that all employees who work for Rakuten should communicate in English by 2012. It is not only a problem of Rakuten company. Other companies in japan are rush to use English. Because English is a global languge of business. Service industry in Japan is about 70 percent of GDP. That's why Japanese goverment and Japanese company make an effort to establish good policies to learn English. However, the problem is that Japanese people learn just only learn vocabulary and grammar for passing the exam. After finishing the test, most of them forget it. So English education of  high school will be taught in English by 2013.

     It is needless to say that English is global language. It is not only Asian countries problems, but also Europe contries, all around the world's problems, either. But I think Japan, and Korea have the difficulty of learing English. Because they learn just only reading part of Enliglish. English is one of languages that means communication is important. In my opinion, if they learn speaking and communication first, it is easy to say their opinion. Most important is communication.

#8 Possibility will be Reality (Last Holiday, 2006)

  

      The movie I saw is 'last holiday'. If you have just only 3 weeks to live, what should you do? Let me think about it first, my answer is why me?  I want to live so long!!!

      The main actor is Georgia Bird who work for department store. She is a shy person and work very hard as people do for the future. She has a album book that is consisted with photos, phamplets for her dreams named 'Possibility'. It's Christmas season. She was hit by shelf at her work place by accidents and as a results of fact, she found out she's got disease. Doctor said she can live only three weeks. However, unfortunately there's no way to treat her disease. So she sold out all her assets and decide to go abroad where she really wanted to go to Hotel. After making her decision, her life has changed. She does whatever she wants. Georgia got a lot of experiences that she dreamed. End of this movie, her 'Possibility book' has change into 'Reality book.' She has her own restaurant with her prince and she is with people who love her so much!. The movie gives us whenever we want to do something, dream ourselves, and it can be real!!

     It was great movie. After I saw this movie, I want to go to Europe next Summer vacation. Time never comes back. I don't want to regret by myself. Whatever I want to do something, dream myself, and just do it right now!! Do not hesitate. Time flies. 

#7 So Lucky day!! ;)

When I was a high school student, I remember I passed by the street. All of a sudden, there was rain drops on my forehead. So I swept it. Then I was ahead to pizza restaurant to see my friends. I met my friends they saw me and laughed a lot. They asked me to see the mirror.

After that, I found out bird’s shit on my forehead. LoL LoL

#6 My best friend, 'Happy'

My childhood was so happy.Because I raised my puppy named ‘Happy’. Whenever she saw me, she ran to me  wagging her tails and yapping. She was so adorable. My family often went to the park and brought her. She was good at playing so that we played ball game all the time with her. One day, we tried to teach her ‘sit’ and ‘pass her hand’. she learnt so quick. ‘Clever happy!’ ;)

By the way, even though she was a good dog, every week we troubled with her. As soon as we finished taking her bathe, she ran out of the house and got her body dirty. We couldn’t catch her so that we needed to wash her body again. Even she made trouble she was my lovely dog. And she made a lot of memories to me and my family.

One day, my father sobbed and got home. I felt so weird and strange. He told me Happy got hit by car. I didn’t know what he was talking about. I couldn’t believe it had happened to her. My father had brought ‘Happy’ to the park as usual. I really didn’t know what was going on. He said to me say good bye to her. I really didn’t know what to do. I started to weep uncontrollably. I was afraid so much that my lovely happy died. Her body started get cold. And I couldn’t see she ran to me anymore. My family buried her in a quiet place, and we prayed for her. She was my best friend.

#5 Suprised, Suprised, suprised!

 When I was young I couldn't eat any butter and cream at all. But when I was 20, I've been to Aus for a month. For 2 weeks I had rice as usual. later on, I loved having bread with butter. You know what I addicted to eating butter. The tastes was really good. So I spread the butter 1 cm height on the bread. Can you imagine? One centimeter of butter on the whole bread. It was fantastic tasty.

 A month later, I came back to Korea. I met many people and they said to me I got fat. And I had brought film camera. So I have the pictures printed out. Suddenly, I was suprised that there's a big fat girl in the picture. Specially, last one week picture was looks like a big elephant. After that, I took my weight and I realized 6kg gained. I know how good tasty of butter than anyone, but I try not to have much now!
 Even though too much weight I got for the butter, my addiction of butter is not finished ever!!

I can not forgive up!!!!

#4Peaceful and realaxed and calm

 I relaxed lying on the hammock at the backyard of the hostels. It was all surrounded by peaceful and calm. The warm wind touched my cheeks and nose. The big luggauge is put next to me that noticed me it's time to go home.

 My ears were being hearing laughing of people. Everyone from the traveling gathered the pub late night, end of the traveling. I was sure that we had the unforgettable memories and feelings for three days. we had experienced many things that seeing the phenomenon desert,making the meals, having a campfire, sleeping outside no matter how dangerous it was. Everything was facinating so that I can't forget it anything.
 

  Five days was past so fast. I remember everything. First day of traveling, I was nervous and didn't know what to do. So I just stepped into wherever I feel going. First place I saw was a small pool and I put my legs in there and relaxed. Next day, in the early morning, 20 people were on the bus. we had been to many places in the desert for three days. Uluru was the best place I had ever seen. It was the huge rocks and I could see the cultures of aborigines in Australia. They had lived the same way as us. Just only differences is that was not civilized as us. it was really wonderful than I imagined before.

 After traveling, what I realized is that all worries I had was not needed. And I could say this now. 'Don't worries!. Just feel free to enjoy today! whatever you want to do just do it now! 'and You will be happy!'. There were many things had changed in my mind and in my life.

 Now, I am looking over the pictures that I had taken. It is time to go back to my memories which is happy and exciting. I am ready to enjoy my life for good. 

Assignment #2 My respectable person

 
 The greatest person in my mind is my father. My father was generous to many people. He gave me a lot of love. I can't help remembering a person in my life that had a more significant influence on me than my father. My father had lived for my family and I believe he know how to enjoy his life.

 I would like to tell you about my admirable person, my father. He had many experiences like sodiers in Bietnam, painter in Saudi Arabia. He told me many things to me about his working experiences. I remember reading his letter to my mother that great memory ever had to him. That was very impressive. He said that how love us and told about his life there.

 When he was young,  he didn't have enough money to go to school so that he should made his own life himself. Even he suffer from the difficult situation he tried to help many people who is near him. That's why wherever he stands, people loved him. It was very important that enjoy hinself whether the life is good or bad.

 Now he passed away and he is in Young cheon in national cemetary. His generous mind is in my mind for good. I would like to live to follow my father's thought.

Assignment #3 Chooseok

 Chooseak is the one of the biggest holidays in Korea. In this season, it is completely sold out from the air line tickets to bus tickets. Because normally, no matter the place they’re going to is far or not, people visit their parents and relatives. Should the ticket buy one week before to leave. However in my case, I made huge mistake that was unthinkable. There wasn’t A ticket for me to go to my family. First of all, I thought I could buy a stand ticket for train. I didn’t know that I should’ve bought a ticket before. It was my first time to the downtown on holiday. I used to live in Incheon for about 20 years but my family move to Gumi which is located 230km far from the seoul. it could be miserable holiday, but luckily I got a ticket that someone had canceled. How lucky am I! It took 3 hours more than usual cause of the traffic jams. However it didn’t matter I could see my family.

 

 As I arrived Gumi, my brother caught me home and my mom and me went to shopping to buy some ingredient for chooseok food such as songpyun, jun, namool, galbi and so on. ‘Songpyun’ is kind of Korean dduck that is made of sticky rice. ‘Jun’ is kind of fried vegetables, seafood. ‘Nammol’ is steamed vegetables. ‘Galbi’ is ribs. I’m charged of ‘Jun’ that is my favorites. I love shrimp jun. It is to easy to make and eat it. I’ll explain about it to you. First, wash the frozen shrimp and paste powder and then soaked with eggs. Lastly it is fried with oil. I would like to explain how to make Chooseok food but I think it’s enough. If I say more, people know my secret. So I’ll tell you later on.

 On Chooseok holiday, whenever I feel hungry, there is plenty of food everywhere. And on the TV, there are lots of not only TV programs and but also movies broadcasted. I would like to describe of Chooseok that beauty of full. It’s full that sort of minds, food, people.

My name is misook kim.
As people hear my name they are confused sometimes.
They might think my name is miso-soup so that some people memorized my name really well ;)
Isn't it funny, though? 

I'm a junior in Seoul Science Technology University majoring in Computer Science Engineering.
I live near the Uni. It takes about 15min from my house to here.

I enjoy riding a bicycle so I bought a pink one last month.
Sadly because of the rainy weather countinuing nowadays, I couldn't ride it.
When the weather is alright, I would go far from the city.
So, If you have a good place to go plz let me know ;)

By the way, I love travling and speaking english. 
However, My writing skill is not good enough. I realized if I want to get a good job in Korea,
I need a great score which proved my ability. So I'm going to prepare TOFLE test next month.

That's the one reason I take this course.
Eventhough my writing is poor, I believe that it's going to be better.
Whenever you think my writing is not correct , plz tell me anytime.
